Austral Gold is a growing gold and silver mining producer building a portfolio of quality assets in the Americas
The Company produces gold and silver from its Guanaco and Amancaya mines in Chile (100% interest) and holds a 26% interest in the Rawhide Mine (Nevada, USA), gold and silver producer. The Company also owns the Casposo mine in San Juan, Argentina (100% interest) which is currently on care and maintenance. In addition, the Company holds an attractive portfolio of exploration projects including the Pingüino project in Santa Cruz, Argentina (100% interest) and the San Guillermo and Reprado projects within the Amancaya district (100% interest). With an experienced and highly regarded major shareholder, Austral Gold is strengthening its asset base by investing in gold and silver projects in Chile, Argentina and the United States that are in production or have near-term development potential.
The Company’s strategy is to strengthen its asset base through acquisition and discovery. The execution of this strategy is dependent on the Company’s experienced management, technical and financial teams, strong cost controls and by leveraging its experience from conceptual engineering to agitation and heap leaching plant construction.
